Parents and churches want children to know God's heart for the nations. They believe the Great Commission matters, but many aren't sure how to make missions a natural part of everyday discipleship. Passport exists to help bridge that gap.
Our Mission:
We are a community of Great Commission Christians, empowering the next generation to share the hope of the Gospel.
Jesus calls us to love God and love our neighbor.
{the Great Commandment —Matthew 22:37-39}
Motivated by Love
Passport to the Nations resources have their roots in
the local church.
Long before Passport became a resource for other churches and families, it began as a way to help the children in our own church know the nations, pray for the nations, and understand their place in God’s mission.
One of the priorities throughout Scripture is a focus on the mission of the church…
The Great Commission.
As a matter of fact, we quote this verse every Sunday before we leave our worship gathering.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always,
even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
And guided by this simple, but powerful, prayer for the nations:
“In His name, the nations will put their hope.” —Matthew 12:21
Called to Serve
Jesus calls us to reach and serve the nations.
{the Great Commission —Matthew 28:19-20}
Meet Our Founder
Tamarah Horton is the founder of Passport to the Nations, a missions resource site designed to help churches and families raise globally minded, Great Commission kids. Her passion for the nations began in childhood and has been shaped by decades of curriculum development, teaching, and resource development.
Before I was even born, God was already writing the Passport Story…
“May God be gracious to us, and bless us, and make His face shine upon us as we labor to learn and teach His mission. May He do this so that His ways may become known on earth, His saving power among all nations.” —Psalm 67:1-2
This is our prayer for those who come with us on the Passport Journey:
